This story certainly reinforces that!Traceyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03901952910404523187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8046083858777525940.post-53864316227994558262011-04-05T09:20:56.177-07:002011-04-05T09:20:56.177-07:00Having a mom around is just as important for teens...Having a mom around is just as important for teens as little ones. I applaud the mother in the story for sticking to her guns. If this had happened to my family, I probably would have stayed on the porch and conversed with them. If it were a girl I knew, I'd request more modest attire if she came calling. Some girls may actually respond to loving concern from an older woman. In any event, I would protect my son by not having him be alone with ANY girl, modest attire or not. Young people can visit within the family unit and fun, too. It's sad that parents often "relax" as children grow older. Dangers are still there - they just might be in different form.Vicki W.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8046083858777525940.post-50005093972816182362011-04-05T06:24:12.037-07:002011-04-05T06:24:12.037-07:00AMEN!!! My husband saying how important it is for the woman to be able to care for her home and children. My uncle on the other hand said women need something to do other than sit and watch soap operas all day. When my husband told me this I literally laughed out.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11698363947636369029noreply@blogger.com
