Freedom Of Choice

Love is not love if we can't choose to love.  We would not love our husbands if they forced us to love them. God has given us all the freedom to choose whether we love Him or not.  He has given us the freedom as to how we will live our lives.

The man who killed those twenty precious children made the choice to commit that horrible act. God had nothing to do with it.  All evil that happens in this world is the result of human beings choosing to do evil.  A drunk driver chooses to drive drunk and may end up killing innocent people.

Every day we can choose to walk soberly, righteously, and godly or we can choose to live ungodly and participate in worldly lusts.  We can choose to love and honor our husbands or manipulate and control them.  We can choose to be patient with our children or be angry with them.

There are those who choose to have their unborn babies murdered and those who give life to their precious children.  There are those who work hard and provide for their families and those who choose to be lazy and allow the government to take care of them.

Life is made up of choices. Every day, every hour, we have the freedom to choose.  We get to choose to eat nourishing food that makes a healthy body or dead, processed food that creates disease.  Every moment, we get to decide how we are going to live.

Therefore, I encourage you to choose what is good, what pleases God.  If we were created to worship God, the best way to worship Him is by walking in obedience to Him.  His ways are good and reap wonderful blessings.

Choose to spend your time wisely.  Spend time in His Word, in prayer, seeking wisdom from Him. Love your husband and children by serving and pleasing them.  When there is a need, try and help. Be careful what you eat and what you watch and read. Dwell on the lovely. His ways are always best.

I call heaven and earth to witness against you today,
that I have set before you life and death,
the blessing and the curse.
So choose life in order that you may live,
you and your descendants.
Deuteronomy 30:19

Choose you this day whom ye will serve.
But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Joshua 24:15
