So every night for many months, she went to this lion. She was gentle, spoke to him softly, brought him good food, and was very kind to this lion. The lion eventually gained her trust and allowed her to take one of his whiskers.
She quickly took the whisker to the religious man. He looked at her and said, "If you can win the most ferocious beast in the world through gentleness, kindness, patience, and good food, you can surely win your husband the same way!"
