God Provides...Period!

The former president of World Vision told me, when I asked him outright, that he had never heard of a Christian anywhere starving to death.  He said he knew stories that sometimes they get very hungry - and then when they pray they're thrilled to see God come through for them.  Dr. Wilbur Smith used to say that in the last two thousand years of world history, those nations which have regularly repeated "give us this day our daily bread" have never experienced starvation
Anne Ortlund

I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread
Psalm 37:25

Behold the fowls of the air:  for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not much better than they?
Matthew 6:26

Okay...are you satisfied?

Do you believe God keeps His Word?

Isn't it better to live each day rejoicing in God and His promises in hopeful expectancy than to spend one moment worried of something in the future that may never happen?

God is good...ALL the time!

He is our Creator and sustains all things by the word of His mouth.

Trust Him...Love Him...Believe Him.

This honors Him and He deserves all of our praise.

AMEN.....
right on! I spent the past two years worrying about EVERYTHING, even though I knew in the back of my mind that God would provide. I would say it but I realized I really had a fear of completely giving up the control of changing the events in my life. But once I did I realized I did not need to worry because no matter what I do, God already has my path written. And in the end he does provides... period! :-)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind!! <3
AMEN!

Thanks for the reminder today :)

Amen ;)
AMEN! There have been times, especially recently, when I've started to worry. Then I look back, and realize not once have I, or my children, ever gone hungry. Jehovah-Jireh He is!
Right on. And a resounding AMEN!

Amen, sweet sister! Many years ago my hubby was out of work for nearly a year (364 days to be exact, lol!) and during that time God so faithfully provided for us. We never went hungry, never went in debt, never lost our home and never had to rely on the state to provide for us. God met our needs thru many different ways, especially after the severance and our savings ran out! Thanks for linking up to Making Your Home Sing Monday!
Thank you so much for these encouraging words. There are so many things I could worry about, but I'm choosing to rest in Him!
Very encouraging words!

I agree!

It is true- we can trust Him! It's hard being here, in Uganda, and seeing people hungry and begging everywhere- but I know He is the answer!
I love this and I believe it. My husband and I have lived by this all our lives. Thanks for reminding all of us again.
I discovered your blog over at A Holy Experience & I'm glad I did! Yes, God does keep His word! Love it!
Thank you Lori. God is faithful!
Thank you for sharing. I needed this reminder.
Amen!
Great reminder!! Amen.
This is such perfect timing for me to read this post, thank-you.
God Bless,

God does provide and He does answer prayer. Thank you for reminding us.
God is good, ALL the time. Amen to that.
That was very encouraging. I have heard of miracles of "multiplication", in recent years, where missionaries did not have enough food for the number of orphans who showed up, yet everyone ate!! Praise God! His lovingkindness has never failed us yet.
Yes, God does provide always! Amen and amen..
That statement in Psalms has always been very impressive to me. It is true. God does answer prayers and He is good all the time.
Blessings,
Charlotte
Trusting Him to provide is the best.
Oh yes, I believe God keeps His word. In fact, I've proven it so. It reminds me of the song:
God hath not promised skies always blue,
Flower-strewn pathways all our lives through;
God hath not promised sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow, peace without pain.

But God hath promised strength for the day,
Rest for the labor, light for the way,
Grace for the trials, help from above,
Unfailing sympathy, undying love.

Those are the promises I have proven!
Amen! All the time.. God is good! Thank you for such an uplifting post.

Blessings,
Misty
