Protection From Affairs

"God knew that the pleasurable memories 'planted' lovingly by you would serve to keep you sweetly and tenderly in his thoughts and his dreams....Love is giving up your center, your self-interest.  It is choosing another's needs above your own."
Debi Pearl

There may not be a fool-proof way to protect your marriage from affairs, because some men are real jerks and will have an affair no matter how wonderful their wives are to them.  However, most men won't want to cheat on a wife who is warm, loving, affectionate, and joyful with him.

God created woman for man.  Man needs a wife.  Keeping him from straying is a good thing for a woman.  She can help doing this by loving on her man...Making him feel special, encouraging him, meeting his needs, adoring him.  Not many men would want to ruin that by having an affair.

When women talk about working outside the home, I encourage them to make sure they don't work so much that they don't have time to love on their husbands.

Spending time on the Internet, cell phone, and watching television are other things that can distract a woman from her man.  He is usually the first one to get neglected when a woman gets too busy, yet he should be your first priority.

If your work is taking you away from this, you should reevaluate your need to work so much.  A marriage is a much more valuable asset than a job.  Your husband needs you whether he tells you so or not.

And the LORD God said , It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
Genesis 2:18
